My son Nathaniel and I had a dream to ride 1000km on a tandem bike to raise awareness and funds for the ADRA Blossom project. It took 3 years of planning and our dream came to a reality.

 

On December 14 2015, we set out for our 10-day ride starting at Wahroonga, Sydney.  We road to the top of Mt Koszciusko and back via the coast road and finished at Wollongong on the 23rd of December.

 

What an amazing experience it was for us, one of the best things we have ever achieved. With the help of many corporate sponsors and individuals, we raised well over $50,000 for the Blossom project.

 

After the ride we wanted others to experience this hence why we have partnered with Restore One and continued to partner with the ADRA Blossom Project to make this an annual event.
