'Capital2Kozi' is a 5-day off-the-beaten-track charity mountain bike ride from Canberra to the top of Mount Kosciusko. Covering over 400km through some of the most scenic terrain in the Australian High Country.

Capital2Kozi is open to anyone who has a spirit of adventure, with no restriction on age or ability.  All you need is a passion and drive to achieve something remarkable, and a desire to make the world a better place.

See the wild brumbies roaming the high plains, swim in pristine rivers, ride remote private tracks, stay in historical working farm cabins not accessible to the general public, ride across rivers & travel through exquisite terrain most of the world never sees.

WHERE WE RIDE

The route will follow stunning back roads and mountain bike trails that most people will never see. This is a mountain bike ride with extra options for the more enthusiastic and avid riders. Check out last year's ride snaps on our Facebook page.

Each day holds its own surprises and treats, with varied accommodation and beautiful scenery to enjoy along the way. We have our own chefs for the journey who will provide delicious, nutritious meals with the occasional treat!

You're up for a real challenge!

 

Long climbs are just workouts before morning tea; you want to test yourself, but still have a great time and see some great stuff. You are happy to get into it early and push yourself to make the check-ins. If you are over 18 and have been doing regular training, this may be your ride.

 

Cruisers

You're also up for a challenge, but not as much of a challenge...

You may want to complement your success with a bit more time to savour the experience along the way. You don't mind tackling a hill or two, but Everest is outside your league. Maybe enjoying a longer cuppa and cake and some time to chat along the way are just as important as stretching yourself to make the goal.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

Capital2Kozi is an ALL-INCLUSIVE event.  We are ready to go with the route, accommodation, top food and an amazing support crew there to help you no matter what!

Your registration fee covers:

• Accommodation the night before the ride (17 Feb 2025 at Alivio Tourist Park - check-in from 2pm)

• Cabins/Hostel/Camping Accommodation (18 Feb - 23 Feb 2025 inclusive)

• All meals, morning tea, afternoon tea & snacks for 5 full days (Tues breakfast - Sunday Breakfast)

• Capital2Kozi commemorative cycle jersey (worth $90)

• Capital2Kozi commemorative water bottle

• Event photos & video (link emailed after the ride)

• First aid supplies

• Support vehicle costs

• Public liability insurance

• Return transfer from Jindabyne to Canberra at the end of the ride

WHAT DOES IT COST

Capital2Kozi is an annual fundraiser to support RestoreOne and the ADRA Blossom Project.  

​

Capital2Kozi has a rider registration fee* of $740 per rider to secure your place in the adventure.

Our riders FUNDRAISE a minimum of $1800 per rider.

​

*Cancellations will be refunded 50% of their total entry fee ($370) if they withdraw from the ride 70+ days prior to the event. There are no refunds if cancellation occurs 69 days or less prior to the event. For full details please read the Terms and Conditions
