2027 CHARITIES
To transform lives, to flourish with hope, dignity, purpose and faith
Our Mission
Operation Life is a recognised charity, registered in Australia (ABN 56 298 911 579) under the Australian Charities Commission and in Papua New Guinea as a charitable association (AN 5-5529). The organisation operates in accordance with its constitution and is responsible to its members. As required by the Australian Corporations Act 2001, annual financial reports are audited and published on the ACNC website.
OFFL started by the pioneering, compassionate service of Dennis Perry and David Woolley in late 1990s, initially focusing on providing food and clothing to people in Papua New Guinea living on the Baruni rubbish tip. Under their leadership, and vision the organisation grew in scope and impact, increasing its influence through education for children in underprivileged communities, as well as visiting the sick in hospitals, feeding the prisoners, caring for disabled and providing shelter for the abused and neglected.

About GOTCHA4LIFE
GOTCHA4LIFE is more than a charity, it’s a movement for change. Founded in 2017 by media personality Gus Worland, after the heartbreaking loss of his best mate and mentor to suicide, the organisation was built on a simple but urgent truth: every year, over 3,000 Australians take their own lives, and far too many people are struggling in silence.
From that grief, a mission was born - to ensure no one worries alone. GOTCHA4LIFE is dedicated to building the mental fitness of all Australians, helping people develop the strength, skills, and support networks they need to face life’s challenges.
The team achieves this through powerful preventative programs, workshops, and resources delivered in schools, workplaces, sporting clubs, and communities nationwide. These programs are designed to do more than raise awareness; they give people the confidence to reach out, speak up, and have meaningful conversations that truly connect. Conversations that can change and even save lives.
Gus and the GOTCHA4LIFE team share a bold vision: a suicide-free future, where mates look out for mates, families stand strong together, and every single person feels safe, valued, and supported.
